So, I suck at writing/ blogging when stressed.
And that means I rarely write anything, besides documenting my day in my commonplace book, and what I needed to do for school. But I have graduated, and it's summer, so, new habit? Maybe? I made it to the Blue Ridge Fiberfest, and I am a sucker for new projects. I took a class on Sashiko, and a beginner drop spindle class. I love the beautiful projects that everyone shows off. It may sound silly, but one of my favorite people to see is "the bunny lady." She is a staple each year, and caught my attention the first time I went to the festival three years ago. I am not the only one who loves her- my students who attended the festival stopped me when I saw them, and three separate groups made sure I knew she was there. She spins wool straight from her rabbits, and has some great home spun projects that are simply beautiful. I pet the rabbits, and bought a beautiful set of fingerless gloves that she had spun and crocheted. Her goat was a doll baby, and enjoyed tie...
